Job Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Software Tester to join our quality assurance team. Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Planning: Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
2. Test Case Design: Develop detailed and effective test cases based on project specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
3. Execution: Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications.
4. Defect Identification: Identify, document, and track software defects, and work closely with developers to investigate, troubleshoot, and verify bug fixes.
5. Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features and bug fixes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
6. Performance Testing: Perform performance testing to assess software responsiveness, stability, and scalability.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and project managers, to facilitate communication and ensure a shared understanding of quality goals.
8. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation, including test cases, test results, and defect reports.
9. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools. Share insights and lessons learned to enhance overall software quality.
10. Adaptability: Adapt to changing project requirements and timelines, ensuring that testing activities align with project milestones.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
2. Proven experience as a Software Tester or in a similar quality assurance role.
3. Familiarity with testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
6. Proficiency in using test management tools and bug tracking systems.
7. Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks is a plus.
8. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
9. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
